+Workspace version is `a.b.c` (single version for all crates):
+
+- **`a`** — very big overhaul (the kind of change that is 1.0.0 → 2.0.0
+  in other software).  Reserved for fundamental rewrites; a future GUI
+  era could qualify.
+- **`b`** — big feature (multitasking, the shell grammar, klog…).
+- **`c`** — fix or small feature.

+Bump the workspace version in the root `Cargo.toml` when a change of
+that class lands — do not leave the version to drift.  Current:
